Richmond Pipe Show Announces New Dates & Location

The Richmond Pipe Show, which is the 2nd largest show after Chicago, has just announced new dates and a posh new location. The show will be taking place one weekend later than usual this year. Instead of the first weekend in October, it will now be during the second weekend, which falls on October 7 – 9, 2011. The new location is the Hilton Richmond Hotel & Spa.
Although the Holiday Inn has been quite accommodating for many years, the Hilton is a welcome upgrade to put the Richmond Show on par with the more posh surroundings of The Pheasant Run Resort, where the Chicago Show is held.
Craig Norris, the President of the Conclave of Richmond Pipe Smokers (C.O.R.P.S.) informed; “We thought it was time for a change to keep the show fresh after 26 years, and I am happy to report that we will still be able to smoke our pipes in the exhibit hall. We welcome everyone to come to the Tobacco Capital of the World – Richmond Virginia, and it’s never too early to make plans. More details will be available on our website soon.”
Linwood Hines added; “In addition to the exhibit hall, there will be another space for smoking, all indoors… Our Virginia hospitality will continue to endure.”
